We Don’t Have A Dog In This Fight

What do you mean you don’t have a dog in this fight?

Because when a Black NFL player fighting his dogs for sport suffers punitive consequences two-steps short — of what “others” have paid for attempted murder. And certainly more than a White boy that walks into an all Black church and assassinates the entire congregation, that gets treated to a burger...

Because we’ve been fighting for the “ideals” of democracy and equality since the onset of the pillage that landed us here.  Because when poverty was deemed our rightful portion and deliberate oppression, was our payment—-it wasn’t a problem— BUT when it effected them, it became  “The Great Depression.” When it was a crack problem... it was “our problem”, “Ghetto problem”, but when it was an opiate suburbia problem, it became an epidemic. When it was Black women being forced out of the workplace it was, “oh well.”

But now that ALL the ‘other women’ are forced off the employment roles— it’s a crisis of gigantic proportions needs to be remedied.

Maybe, because when peaceful—well organized Black protesters demanding that Black Life Matters and that they stop killing unarmed Black men and women—- those protestors are brutalized, and labeled cop haters and terrorists.

When another Black NFL player takes a stance by bending a knee during the National Anthem to join the rallying cry of BLM—because the methodical genocide of Black men is painfully obvious except to those who refuse to see, is permanently banned from playing professional football again. But when a white supremacist savagely beats a Capitol police officer with a flagpole with the AMERICAN flag on it...

Accompanied and assisted by a White angry, violent, armed mob violates, storms, and desecrates the Nation’s Capitol, verbally threatening to murder, hang, shred to pieces the House’s Speaker and the sitting VP; and KILL and maim police officers in their wake, they are “very fine people”, they are bestowed with love, and bid to go peacefully on their way—- and do enjoy a vacation while you are at it.

So maybe— just maybe, we are witnessing chickens coming home to roost. And not gleefully so, but hopeful that finally the world can now see a panoramic view of what we attested all the long—  two different Americas is really, really a thing!
